BILLINGS GLC Spinning Reel — 5.2:1, 12 kg Max Drag

The BILLINGS GLC is built around a honeycomb-cutout spool and a 12 kg drag stack — a metal-bodied reel made to fight above its size. The plug-in machined handle and line-out alarm round out a serious package.

• 5.2:1 gear ratio, 12 kg max drag — felt/metal washer drag stack shown
• Honeycomb-cutout spool cup — lightened without losing strength
• Metal body with metal inner core
• Plug-in machined metal handle — inserts directly into the reel body
• Line-out alarm — built-in metal sound disc
• EVA foam handle knob; ambidextrous
• 203–372 g by size

Spool marking (GLC5000): 0.30/200, 0.35/160, 0.40/100 (mm/M).

Good for: hard-fighting fish — big bass, pike, and inshore saltwater species. The line-out alarm earns its keep on dead-sticked baits and live-bait rigs.
