The BILLINGS AK is an 18+1-bearing baitcaster with a shallow spool — built for lure fishing where smooth casting matters. Nineteen bearings is a lot of smooth.
- 7.2:1 gear ratio
- 18+1 ball bearings (marked on the body)
- 18LB max drag
- Shallow spool — less line, lighter spool, easier casting
- Aluminum body
- Magnetic brake system
- Conical ceramic line guide (outlet)
- Blue spool and tension knob; black/silver/blue body
- Left/right handle versions (box marked); 260g
Specs: Model AK; box labeled "LURE FISHING REEL".
Good for: bass, walleye, and pike on lures; fresh and salt water. The high bearing count keeps the retrieve smooth under load, cast after cast, and the shallow spool means less wasted line on every fill.
