The BILLINGS DX is a compact baitcaster with an 8-magnet brake system and 4+1 bearings, built for controlled casting at a value price. The external brake dial lets you tune on the fly as wind or lure weight changes, and eight magnets give finer braking control than basic single-magnet designs.

  • 7.2:1 gear ratio for quick retrieves
  • 6KG max drag
  • 8-magnet magnetic brake with external adjustment dial
  • 4+1 ball bearings — badge printed on the reel body
  • Ported metal spool and ceramic line guide
  • Knurled aluminum handle knobs for a sure grip
  • Gunmetal/teal finish; 172g aluminum body

Specs: Model DX marking on side plate. Freshwater and saltwater.

Good for: bass and walleye anglers learning baitcasters or wanting a backup reel — also a handy loaner when a buddy wants to try one.
